This bundle contains everything you need (except a PC) to set up your own lightning detection site. The included Boltek LD-250 lightning detector and NexStorm software are
the choices for the serious lightning detection enthusiast.
LD-250 connects to your PC over RS-232 or USB. By connecting a compatible GPS to LD-250 you can have a completely mobile system.
Also included in this package is a CVM vector map for your location and StormVue V3 - our most advanced lightning data web display software. This is an unbeatable package for lightning detection and real-time publishing of your lightning data on a network.
Note! Due to data transmission speed limitations in the LD-250 it is not possible for NexStorm to analyze and determine strike types and polarities with this detector. If you require strike classification capability please check out our
LD-350 package instead.
