Out of system resources

Problem: Despite plenty of RAM, disk space and a fast CPU, NexStorm shows error message Out of system resources when started.

This issue is not caused by insufficient RAM or disk storage but due to a hard limitation in your Windows configuration and the number of GDI Objects (graphics memory) that an application may use. The problem mostly occurs on Windows Server and Enterprise editions which are geared towards network and office type performance rather than graphics.

The GDI Objects limit can be increased by editing a few Windows Registry parameters. For details on how to change limits and monitor GDI Objects usage per application, please see this external article (scroll down to "Monitoring"):
